The most addictive drama is back tonight! I can’t remember the last time I have been so excited about something…whoo hoo!!! I can not wait!
It will be a three hour long LOST fest beginning with a recap and followed by the first episode of season 5, and the second episode will close the third hour!
I must admit, I am pretty obsessed with LOST.

A very flat-chested woman finally decided she needed a bra and set out to the mall in search of one in her size. She entered an upscale department store and approached the saleslady in lingerie, “Do you have a size 28AAAA bra?”
The clerk haughtily replied in the negative, so she left the store and proceeded to another department store where she is rebuffed in much the same manner.
After a third try at another department store at the mall, she had become disgusted. Leaving the mall, she drove to K-Mart. Marching up to the sales clerk, she unbuttoned and threw open her blouse, yelling, “Do you have anything for this?”
The lady looked closely at her and replied, “Have you tried Clearasil?”
That joke deserves a punchline drum roll for sure! so funny! What?! I felt like sharing a joke today. Good times.

Dancing with the Stars professionals Maksim Chmerkovskiy, better known as the hottest dancer on the show and Karina Smirnoff, better known as Ac Slater’s ex-gf became engaged when Maksim proposed with a three karat platinum diamond ring on New Years Eve. Though they have known each other for some time through the competitive dance circle, they have only been dating for four months!!
Wowsers, I bet there is a lot of passion between them, on and off the dance floor… they both move really well, especially the greatest dancer in the whole wide world, Maksim!
Congrats to the spicy couple!
Some more Maksim…oh and Karina

Adding a cute simple braid to your hairstyle can be both eccentric and elegant. There are many ways to wear a braid. A braided updo is chic, while a braid worn as a headband is cute and clean. Then there is the bohemian look made popular by Nicole Richie… or why not try the hippie halo look? How about pulling two thin braids into a messy bun?
The look can be slightly messy but it’s still 100% sexy! Play around with your hair parts and have some bobby pins handy to create you own special braided look.

Adorable!

Her look always called for extreme black-rimmed eyes with glossy nude lips, followed by a slightly undone full head of straight hair. The look is head-turning sexy in a not so obvious way…
Face Canvas
As always start with a perfect canvas. Apply a light foundation with a powder finish, to achieve what is known as the “natural look.”
Black Out
To create eyes that demand attention, try layering on the black makeup. First, line the eye with dark black liner/pencil on top and bottom of the eyelid. Then, layer on a sheer layer of inky black cream eyeshadow over the pencil. My favorite is Nars Cream Eyeshadow -Zardoz which goes for about $21 bones at Sephora. Blend through the crease and along the lower last line and slightly upwards and out for a subtle cat-eye effect. Then curl your lashes and top it all off with two coats of black volumizing mascara on both sets of lashes.
Pout
A dramatic eye look calls for minimal makeup elsewhere. So define the brows slightly and only apply very little blush to the cheeks. Finish by muting out your pout with concealer before applying a high gloss nude lipgloss. My pick is No Care Bare by CoverGirl.
Hair
Begin by applying your choice of thickening lotion or styler to damp hair. Blowdry hair by working in sections using a nylon-bristle brush. If your hair is thick, a round brush may be easier to use instead of a flat one. I personally love my big square head brush which I bought at my local Rite-Aide. When my hair is nearly dry I like to twist my hair into a loose bun and clip it, allowing it to set for about 20 minutes. When my hair feels completely dry, I let the hair out. This adds a bit of bounce to the straight hair leaving behind a few wispy, slightly turned out ends.
This look is sexy and effortless!

It has been a long while since my last post and I apologize for missing in action for so long. The last couple of months have been hectic to say the least. So much has happened… but with the New Year in full swing what better time than now to be here again.
With all that has been going on I needed some time away, some time for quiet reflection. I feel revitalized and replenished, and feel grounded in my own company. I’m looking forward to this year now that I feel more aware. With this new feeling of momentum that has been built, I can’t help but set specific goals for myself…
New Year resolutions… I didn’t make any last year, but I want this year to be different.
My list is long and making it felt overwhelming at first. But after a while I got into writing all the things I had always wanted to do if the lemons of life hadn’t gotten in the way. After some time, the list filled an entire page, containing all my ideas of an ideal life. My list has things I feel I should do to be the person I always wanted to be, and then I have a few practical resolutions… the practical being things like, eat better, make time to exercise, help others, etc., but it’s the not so practical resolutions that I would like to focus on this year.
After all, the more things that excite you, the more intensely you will live your time alive. Intuitively, we really do know who we are and how we should live. I guess it’s time to trust this inner guidance and follow my own unique path.
I have a feeling this year is going to be one to remember… a great year…
Happy 2009!
