Vogue India has featured many beautiful Indian faces on their issue. Change can be good however, Victoria Beckham stars as the Indian Bride and pulls it off beautifully.
Victoria says, “I have long been an avid admirer of the Indian fashion and lifestyle culture.”
Anahita Shroff Adajania, fashion director for the magazine, reveals that Mrs. Beckham was very excited trying on the Indian outfits, “She absolutely loved everything about it — from the ‘maang tikka’ and ‘haath zeb’ (traditional Indian jewellery) to the gorgeous lehengas (traditional Indian skirt with embroidery),” she says.
And who can blame her? Indian clothing is to die for! From the colors, to the styles, and the rich materials…the options are endless.
Britney Spears has also been inspired by Indian Fashion and culture. At a recent show at her Circus tour she performs wearing an Indian costume resembling one worn by actress Deepika Padakone’s from the movie Om Shanti Om.
