You gotta give Kim Kardashians hair and makeup crew for being creative… without further adieu…check out her do’s

Hookers have given blue eye makeup a bad name, but when done right it can transform you. To prevent the look from reading too prom, you want the focus to be only on the eyes. This means skip the blush, and keep lips closest to your natural lip color. Start by blending foundation into your skin creating a luminous finish.
To get glamorously gorgeous eyes, sweet a topaz eyeshadow across your eye lids. The goal is to apply a thin sheen of a layer to add subtle color, but if you start to resemble Mimi from Drew Carey, blot some of it off. I like to mix a little bit of light gold shadow to neutralize the look. Next using a black liquid liner, draw a thin line across the upper lid (very close to your lash line) extending the line at the outer corners.
Now what you do to your lower eye lid is what makes the look…this is the part where you eyes are accented using the blue color. Draw the line staying as close to your lashes as possible, and again extend the liner on the outer corner of the eyes to create a dramatic look. Apply mascara and you’re done.
Below is another way to wear blue, and in my opinion this look should be saved for a night out only… Blue shadow across the lids, black bold liner lining the eyes and a few coats of mascara. Again, keep cheeks and lips natural.

Driving to work this morning phone in hand, must have hit the camera button because it decided to take shots of me without my knowing… I learned the phone has an edgy artistic taste in photography. He’s a smartphone.

He I’m sure is convinced that I think that life should mimic the above picture. And by He I don’t mean God, although I’m sure he thinks of himself as one, He is the boyfriend.
Being an intelligent being, he knows what romance looks like, he knows what it is…and like most women, I enjoy it. It enhances the enjoyment of being in a relationship … especially a LDR. I realize romance is a lot harder to pull off… the average guy may come off as a complete cheeseball if he mirrored movie like behavior. For instance, if my boyfriend and I were to take a cruise together, and he placed my body dangerously close to the edge of the deck Titanic style and screamed “I’m the king of the world!” I would probably puke a little in my mouth out of sheer fear of going overboard. That would not be my idea of a shared feel-good moment.
It sucks but there is a double standard… romance novels can get away with in your face romance, and so can movies, but the average guy has to find the comfortable medium. Somewhere between cheesy and a wretched wasteland of indifference lies the perfect amount of romanticism.
A man needs to remember women all over the world have these notions, its important to figure out her fantasies and make at least some of them come true from time to time. Abandoning the idea of romance all together comes off as plain lazy. So yes, life is not a novel … but to all the lovers out there, don’t underestimate what a little gesture can do for the spirit.
The lovely Boyfriend can easily be described as the ‘strong and silent type’ with emphasis on the silent part. Now I’m not saying I need daily confessions of his undying love for me… but a little can go a long way.
So we live in a practical world… does that mean we have to behave in a practical manner all the time?
Consensus say no.
Make-Up is powerful, it not only changes your appearance, but it can transform your mood. With the Holiday’s around the corner you can count on attending countless gatherings …and with gatherings will come tons of photos. So why not have some fun this season!

It’s not permanent people! The worst that can happen is … nothing. There is no commitment, so enjoy your face!

Her look always called for extreme black-rimmed eyes with glossy nude lips, followed by a slightly undone full head of straight hair. The look is head-turning sexy in a not so obvious way…
Face Canvas
As always start with a perfect canvas. Apply a light foundation with a powder finish, to achieve what is known as the “natural look.”
Black Out
To create eyes that demand attention, try layering on the black makeup. First, line the eye with dark black liner/pencil on top and bottom of the eyelid. Then, layer on a sheer layer of inky black cream eyeshadow over the pencil. My favorite is Nars Cream Eyeshadow -Zardoz which goes for about $21 bones at Sephora. Blend through the crease and along the lower last line and slightly upwards and out for a subtle cat-eye effect. Then curl your lashes and top it all off with two coats of black volumizing mascara on both sets of lashes.
Pout
A dramatic eye look calls for minimal makeup elsewhere. So define the brows slightly and only apply very little blush to the cheeks. Finish by muting out your pout with concealer before applying a high gloss nude lipgloss. My pick is No Care Bare by CoverGirl.
Hair
Begin by applying your choice of thickening lotion or styler to damp hair. Blowdry hair by working in sections using a nylon-bristle brush. If your hair is thick, a round brush may be easier to use instead of a flat one. I personally love my big square head brush which I bought at my local Rite-Aide. When my hair is nearly dry I like to twist my hair into a loose bun and clip it, allowing it to set for about 20 minutes. When my hair feels completely dry, I let the hair out. This adds a bit of bounce to the straight hair leaving behind a few wispy, slightly turned out ends.
This look is sexy and effortless!

Brigitte Bardot
White shimmery shadow adds instant glam and makes your eyes look double shot of espresso awake! If you have fair skin, choose a silvery white shadow. For girls who have sun kissed skin, champagne or off-white shades look gorgeous!
I love to use shimmer along the bottom of my lash line, or on the inner corners of my eyes. It makes my eyes look brighter. Just don’t apply too much, as always keep the look subtle and blend away any hard lines. Lastly, curl your lashes and add a coat of brown mascara.
Magic mirror on the wall, who has eyes white as snow?
I’ll Have some Wine, Thank you
Kiss & Make-Up, Primping Perfection, Tricks of the Trade 3 Comments »Lips that look drenched in red wine make you look sexy and glamorous. This is a gorgeous evening look.
The goal is to keep the look youthful. To achieve this look smooth concealer only where needed and use a bit of powder to even the skin tone. Do not cake on the powder; you want to be able to see the natural glow of the skin.
Next dab on a light berry cream blush on the lower cheeks to add just a hint of color. Some makeup artists like using lip pencil before filling in the lips, but it can look too harsh. Instead I like to use a small stiff brush and apply the deep burgundy lip color in short strokes along the natural lip line, and then fill in the rest of the mouth. Remember to keep lips moisturized with chapstick, dry chapped lips are distracting and disgusting. Gross!
For the eyes you want to use very minimal makeup, if any at all, this is the key to achieving the youthful look and avoiding the dramatic hooker look. Simply curl your lashes and use one or two coats of clear mascara.
Yummy… Wine never looked so inviting!
For a fresh sun kissed look, put aside your dark neutral shades and turn up the heat with stunning coral makeup.
Start by applying eyebase or a light neutral eye shadow all over lids right up to the brows, and also apply the color to the lower lash line.
Next take a salmon eyeshadow color and apply on lids up to the outer corners. Your next step is to apply an electric coral shade along the crease line and up leaving space just under the brows. Take the same color and apply the electric coral shade to the lower lash line as well.
Next apply a light almost silvery shade just under brows and also to the inner corner of the eyes.
With a light brown/espresso color, blend just a little into the crease of your lids at the outer edge right over the coral color. Next take your black liquid liner and draw a thin line along your top lash line, and line your ‘water line’ or your lower lash line with a brown liner. Curl your lashes and use two coats of dark brown or black mascara. Finish the look by using the coral shade as blush as well as a light coral gloss.
This glowy, vibrant look is best worn with light colors; I love this look when I am in a white dress. The look makes me feel like I am on an island far far away… hmm… I smell Pina Coladas!
It’s Friday, which means it’s time to ditch the work/school week look and step into your drop dead sexy date night look!
Shades of plum and mauve look sultry when applied in a light wash all the way around the eye. The look is a little younger, and fresher than your usual gray and black. Once you have applied the shimmery plum color to your lids, use a shadow brush to lightly smudge some shadow at the lower lash line.
Next line your eyes with dark black pencil and follow through with two coats of mascara. As always groom your brows, and add a hint of plum brush to the cheeks.
To keep your lips kissably soft, line your lips with a light plum lip pencil and add a conditioning lip balm.
Now that your face looks fresh and gorgeous, you will need head-turning hair!
Go for the sexy poker straight hair, the ideal finish should be glossy not greasy. The secret is to not use too many products. Simply work some high-shine setting spray through your hair after the blow dry.
Splendid!
