I can’t decide what I think of the bold dress Isabel Lucas is sporting… I like all the colors… separately…together it is a bit…bold. Still…I like the length…On a classy chick, I think the look can be pulled off. The fit isn’t perfect…one size smaller maybe? I can’t decide…Love it or Hate it?
I have a thing for the color yellow lately… I think I would officially like to announce that it is my favorite color…for now. Here are some of my favorite things in yellow. I would like to own all of these in due time…
Yellow reminds me of warm summer days…and it just happens to be an instant mood shifter…I imagine me wearing this yellow dress below year round…summer days I would wear it the way she wears, heck…I’ll even pose like her in it. During the colder days, I can wear the look with tights and knee hight boots! So sexy…
It’s a one piece, I NEVER wear a one piece, but the one below in particular is so cute. I can just see myself lounging by the pool with a good book in hand and no plans to get into the actual pool. I would be sipping on a cold one (white wine)…and in time I would develop an appetite, this is when I would slip into a knee length flowy white skirt that would mesh well with my low white open-toed heels. I would call the boyfriend, and he and I would have a perfect lunch date on the balcony…I can’t wait till summer!!!
Then later in the evening I would go to a cocktail party in Kate Hudson’s dress…and the rest of the yellow dresses will be worn during another mellow yellow day…
But for now, seeing how I am dealing with some very chilly weather, I would love to wear this tasty coat…
And for his eyes only…
Best Sunless Tanning Product…
Cute as a Button, My Thoughts Exactly, Primping Perfection, Tricks of the Trade 1 Comment »There’s nothing like having skin that looks like it’s been kissed by the sun. Tanned skin looks great and as an added bonus, makes the skin show less imperfections. Tanned skin gives the impression that your body is slimmer, and even tends to enhance facial features. Now in no way am I suggesting that you go lay out in the sun for hours… DON’T do that. I mean the exact opposite, if you don’t have perfectly tan skin, then I suggest using a sunless tanning product that does not turn your skin orange. Because next to having imperfections stand out on pale skin, having orange as a skin tone is even worse, (see my post titled ‘Like the Oompa’).
With there being so many products on the shelves, it can be a bit overwhelming to find the product that works just right. Therefore, our writers at PrettyObsessed researched which products would be safe and provide the desired results for our readers. Many of the products were concerning as they contained ingredients which may be harmful to the skin and body. Furthermore, others contained alcohol which can irritate the skin.
The product which exceeded our expectations above and beyond is:

Hookers have given blue eye makeup a bad name, but when done right it can transform you. To prevent the look from reading too prom, you want the focus to be only on the eyes. This means skip the blush, and keep lips closest to your natural lip color. Start by blending foundation into your skin creating a luminous finish.
To get glamorously gorgeous eyes, sweet a topaz eyeshadow across your eye lids. The goal is to apply a thin sheen of a layer to add subtle color, but if you start to resemble Mimi from Drew Carey, blot some of it off. I like to mix a little bit of light gold shadow to neutralize the look. Next using a black liquid liner, draw a thin line across the upper lid (very close to your lash line) extending the line at the outer corners.
Now what you do to your lower eye lid is what makes the look…this is the part where you eyes are accented using the blue color. Draw the line staying as close to your lashes as possible, and again extend the liner on the outer corner of the eyes to create a dramatic look. Apply mascara and you’re done.
Below is another way to wear blue, and in my opinion this look should be saved for a night out only… Blue shadow across the lids, black bold liner lining the eyes and a few coats of mascara. Again, keep cheeks and lips natural.

I was at the grocery store today browsing the magazines and along came a copy cat girl who seemed to be doing the same thing. We exchanged glances, then smiles… and we both looked the other up and down in approval. Friendly? Check. Cute Outfits? Check. Good taste in magazine? Check.
But then I noticed her back…acne…bacne and I thought to myself, “Not so cute anymore…” Many girls are guilty of this yucky phenomenon. While in the shower they pay attention only to the front part of their bodies and for some odd reason ignore the parts that can’t be seen by their own eye. This of course includes the back of their arms, back and butt. All of which are super sexy to our less intelligent halves…men. Men watch you as you come and they watch as you go. Might not be the best reason to pay more attention to the flip-side… but it’s a reason nevertheless.
So here we go, if you want to get rid of bacne you must wash and exfoliate the areas regularly and especially after any activity that can cause excessive sweating. Exfoliating your skin with a product that has salicylic acid and exfoliating beads will get rid of any dead skin cells while treating the acne itself. My favorite is Neutrogena’s Body Scrub…I use it all over my body.

Lastly, to prevent dry skin, be sure to moisturize your skin after towel drying your body.
And that my friend is how you bring your sexy back.
Make-Up is powerful, it not only changes your appearance, but it can transform your mood. With the Holiday’s around the corner you can count on attending countless gatherings …and with gatherings will come tons of photos. So why not have some fun this season!

It’s not permanent people! The worst that can happen is … nothing. There is no commitment, so enjoy your face!
Hopefully the answer is YOU! Its that time of the season to pull out your cut-off shorts and show off your sexy legs. This spring and summer, prepare to see lots of tattered, ripped, and shamelessly short shorts everywhere. Personally I love this trend… as soon as the weather allows, I will be sporting mine! The beauty of this trend is that there are so many wonderful ways to wear the look. You can dress it up or down, wear them with heels or flats… just please ladies have some class and cover that ass!

Adding a cute simple braid to your hairstyle can be both eccentric and elegant. There are many ways to wear a braid. A braided updo is chic, while a braid worn as a headband is cute and clean. Then there is the bohemian look made popular by Nicole Richie… or why not try the hippie halo look? How about pulling two thin braids into a messy bun?
The look can be slightly messy but it’s still 100% sexy! Play around with your hair parts and have some bobby pins handy to create you own special braided look.

Adorable!

Her look always called for extreme black-rimmed eyes with glossy nude lips, followed by a slightly undone full head of straight hair. The look is head-turning sexy in a not so obvious way…
Face Canvas
As always start with a perfect canvas. Apply a light foundation with a powder finish, to achieve what is known as the “natural look.”
Black Out
To create eyes that demand attention, try layering on the black makeup. First, line the eye with dark black liner/pencil on top and bottom of the eyelid. Then, layer on a sheer layer of inky black cream eyeshadow over the pencil. My favorite is Nars Cream Eyeshadow -Zardoz which goes for about $21 bones at Sephora. Blend through the crease and along the lower last line and slightly upwards and out for a subtle cat-eye effect. Then curl your lashes and top it all off with two coats of black volumizing mascara on both sets of lashes.
Pout
A dramatic eye look calls for minimal makeup elsewhere. So define the brows slightly and only apply very little blush to the cheeks. Finish by muting out your pout with concealer before applying a high gloss nude lipgloss. My pick is No Care Bare by CoverGirl.
Hair
Begin by applying your choice of thickening lotion or styler to damp hair. Blowdry hair by working in sections using a nylon-bristle brush. If your hair is thick, a round brush may be easier to use instead of a flat one. I personally love my big square head brush which I bought at my local Rite-Aide. When my hair is nearly dry I like to twist my hair into a loose bun and clip it, allowing it to set for about 20 minutes. When my hair feels completely dry, I let the hair out. This adds a bit of bounce to the straight hair leaving behind a few wispy, slightly turned out ends.
This look is sexy and effortless!
