I’ve been a huge fan of Julianne Hough since her days on Dancing with the Stars…she was an amazing dancer and choreographer, one of the main reasons I even watched the shows in the first place. But then she left…and now the show sucks. Another reason to adore her is that she is dating my favorite radio personality Ryan Seacrest. By doing so she has been thrown into the spotlight and is stalked regularly by the poopoorazzi. She’s longed moved on since DWTS and now is a singer/actress…

While decided which photos would compliment her the most, I realized I am not a fan of her red carpet style at all… with her it’s a hit or miss and usually a miss in my opinion. As far as her hair and makeup goes…always a hit in my book.

On a random side note, is it me or does she resemble a pretty little Siberian Husky? It’s those cabo water eyes of hers, those adorable little dogs have the same kinds!

 

Goes without saying much that she is beautiful…I probably should leave it at that, but that smiley face picture kind of scares me. I wear the side braid pretty often, at home, and even when I get dolled up. Depending on how your makeup is done, and how you are dressed the look is incredibly versatile. I saw these photos of Rihanna and thought, SUPER cute, how did is it I’ve never thought of wearing my side braid this way? Her hairstylist framed her face with two small braids ,that then attached them to create a more beautiful side braid. With some patience and practice, this upgraded braid is totally wearable.

Old-school Indian bridal makeup always seemed too strong for my taste. When I think of Indian bridal makeup I imagine big beautiful dramatic eyes, with a smooth rosy complexion and a hint of pink kissed lips. With my wedding day inching closer and closer I have collected many photos for inspiration. Here is a set of photos of new Indian model Amina showing Bridal looks and she looks great.

 

I was one of those people who had very little interest in watching the Royal Wedding. I had not been following any of the news, nor did I care about the gossip.

Thursday night my fiance was on night-call which meant I was at home being productive. And late into the night I was  vegging out on the couch…I must have had 1 cup too much of coffee because I ended up staying up all night. I figured I would  just go to bed when he did the next day. It was now about 5 am and there was nothing on TV except Live coverage of the Royal Wedding.

I didn’t think I would enjoy it, but It was intense, and there was just so much excitement in the air, I ended up watching it and loving it. Kate looked fantastic…and I jotted some wedding ideas down for my big day! Here are some photos of them on their big day. This first one is my favorite … she looks stunning. I LOVE her eyebrows, thick and well groomed. She is a natural beauty for sure.

Lauren Conrad is the only normal thing that came out of The Hills, I actually adore her. She does the casual thing very well…hair simply kept, nails always done, cute accessories and easy pairings.

When I hear about the Mango Clothing line, I think of Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica designing a 25 piece collection along with accessories. I guess it was supposed to be a competitive counterpoint to the release of Madonnas H&M collection. From what I’ve seen the clothes look beautiful. What was really beautiful though were the ads for the line…The makeup, the clothes, the hair and the lighting, is done perfectly. It makes me want to get up, get dressed and get dolled up.
