Nude makeup can make a face look beautiful, fresh, and sophisticated. This season bright colors have popped up everywhere. It’s chic and no longer considered tacky. The key to this look is balance. If you choose to apply bright makeup to the lips then keep the eye makeup minimal. Applying bright eye shadow in different colors is a lot of fun and can really make your eyes stand out. If you choose to try this, then make sure to keep the lips natural, a hint of color and gloss is enough. Bright colors on the face is something different and fun and worth trying, when having a wild night out is in the agenda!
Black eye liner and shadow is a makeup must have, it compliments everybody’s eyes. However, if you look deeply into your eyes (like the creepy guy at the gas station does), then you will notice that there are flecks of color that are different from your main eye color. You may notice you have a bit of gold or violet shining through in the light. Use the color you see to really make your eyes pop! Adding just a little color will add dimension to your look.
If you’re unable to see any flecks then simply line your eyes in a color that contrasts with your natural eye color.
Brown Eyed Girl
Lucky ladies with brown eyes can wear any color to bring attention to their peepers. Brown eye shadow can be used everyday for a natural makeup look, but to add zing to your look shadow the eyes in a contrasting color. Brushing the lid with navy blue, green, or purple eye shadow is the key to accentuating your eyes.
Green With Envy
Consider yourself blessed if you have green eyes. There are so many colors that compliment your color, everything from charcoal gray to brown. My favorite choice for you green eyed beauties would be reddish black, the color looks amazing against green eyes.
Baby Blues
Black can look gorgeous with blue eyes, but the look is much too harsh for everyday wear. Instead opt for a rich espresso eye shadow and liner. The look is subtle yet very sexy.
If you want your skin glow and glisten then you must try the Murad Lighten & Brighten Eye Treatment and Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 15 set. Each of these products works to keep your skin bright and beautiful. I started using these products last month and I have fallen in love.
First, the Lighten & Brighten Eye Treatment seriously works like magic. It’s no secret I have not been sleeping much the past two weeks so every time I use this treatment I wake up without any bags, or dark circles near my eyes. All you need is a teeny tiny dollop on your finger, then gently massage it into your undereye area and out toward the outer corners of the eye. The ingredients in the eye cream include rosa damascene flower, clove flower, sage, orange, grapefruit—doesn’t it sound delicious? Using the treatment on a daily basis will ensure you look gorgeous and hide any unattractive eye issues caused by sleepless-party nights.
And let’s not forget the Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 15. I hope I don’t have to remind you to wear SPF every single day, whether the sun is shining or not, right? Good girl. This moisturizer works to fight against sun damage and free radicals. It is light, creamy and non-greasy. Again, you will only need a small amount, about the size of a quarter. Massage into your face before you apply your makeup… You Glow Girl!!!
Tip: This set retails for $75 at Sephora’s website, which is quite a bargain when it normally costs $107.
Bollywood eyebrows are the HOTTEST depilatory fad since the Brazilian bikini line! It has long since become a major craze for salons and high-end spas across the country. Threading is an ancient Indian art of hair removal used to give flawless shape to the eyebrows and a clean look to the face by removing access hair.
It involves rolling and twisting cotton thread over hairlines pulling rows of hair from the root. Unlike tweezing or waxing the process is quick and precise. The beautician will begin by looping the thread around her hands about ten times and then pulling it taut over the area of hair. Her experienced hands will then cast her thread lasso-like around the ‘hairy’ region and remove the hair.
The standard hair threading session can last up to 20 minutes depending on the area you need cleaned. Any desired shape and thickness can be given so be sure to voice your desired look to the skilled beautician.
Like most hair removal methods, threading can be a little painful but no more than waxing and tweezing, and in the end the results are worth it. To alleviate some of the pain place a cool cloth on the skin when you get home and apply light moisturizer to the area.
Your sharp new look should last you about three weeks. Splendid!
Super skinny brows with high arches have been pushed aside to make room for the full natural looking brow. In other words, the unnatural astonished expression some gals walk around with can finally be laid to rest.
If you were born with sparse brows or went tweeze happy, there is a simple solution to filling in your eyebrows.
You’ll need:
Soft Pencil (shade lighter than your brows)
Powder, or eye shadow (Match the shade to the color of your brows)
Brow Brush (Small, angled brush with pointed bristles)
Clear mascara, or clean mascara brush
Grooming 101:
Since the pencil tends to stick to the skin, not to the hair, you will lightly shade in the area where the hair should grow using short, feathery strokes. You want to create an appearance of natural hair so avoid making any definite lines. Next, using the brow brush dab some powder along the brows. Be sure to swipe some over the pencil as well blending in the color perfectly. To pull the look together, take the clear mascara and brush eyebrows into place.
It’s easier than shooting a fish in a barrel!
I give it a 10! That is, It’s a 10 Miracle leave in Product. My hair is getting long and its healthy and I intend to keep it this way. I’m pretty obsessed with buying beauty products and it’s been a while since I came across something that is so great. This leave in conditioner is amazing! All you need is a handful and it will keep your hair hydrated and smelling delicious. It not only keeps my hair healthy and hydrated but it adds shine, creates silkiness, and prevents split ends. I despise split ends, so this product has become my new best friend. I’ve gone through two bottles already in the span of three weeks, that’s the only downside… it runs out too quickly! So if you’re going to be a good girl and get some, get plenty. You won’t regret it.
