When I hear about the Mango Clothing line, I think of Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica designing a 25 piece collection along with accessories. I guess it was supposed to be a competitive counterpoint to the release of Madonnas H&M collection. From what I’ve seen the clothes look beautiful. What was really beautiful though were the ads for the line…The makeup, the clothes, the hair and the lighting, is done perfectly. It makes me want to get up, get dressed and get dolled up.

I sport high buns at home all the time. But it’s not secret that the bun is no longer the lazy girls go-to hairstyle. Paired with jeans or even a long formal gown, the ballerina bun is proving to be one of the most versatile hairstyles around. The best part is that it is extremely easy to achieve, and it is a great alternative my second popular style of choice at home, the ponytail.

There is no right or wrong way to wear the ballerina bun, it can be neatly made, worn with a hairband, tousled softly, worn high, or down at the nape of the neck. Whatever works, you can do know wrong my little Black Swan.

High-waisted that is! 70s are back…again. Super cute and flattering trend of hippy high-waisted fashion is waay in!

Worn wrong, and you end up looking like a flat butted momma. “I never thought that I’d be considered to have a good body. I was bony up top and kind of dumpy on the bottom. But my trainer, Tracy Anderson, completely changed my legs, butt, arms and stomach. I feel better than ever, too.”

On her challenge areas:
“My butt! My butt, butt, butt. When Tracy met me, she said that I had a long, square butt that she was going to redesign, and I was, like, “Yeah? Good luck.” The amazing thing is, she was right! And it’s still changing!”

How she stays sane about her body:
“I’ve found what works for me. I know if I put in an hour and a half, five days a week, I’m good. If I’m on vacation and, like, “F— it, I’m not working out,” I know what to do when I get back. A lot of women think, “Oh, my God, I could never get there,” but I don’t think that’s true. It’s simply relative to how much you put into it.”

How consistent she stays, foodwise:
“I say I always eat right, but last night, I had fried clams, pasta with duck sausage and two glasses of red wine. When I want to lose, I eat less pasta, bread and potatoes. Before last year’s Iron Man 2 premiere, I did green juices and salads for three days.”

Gwyneth’s fitness secret:
“I do 45 minutes of cardio five days a week, because I like to eat. I also try for 45 minutes of muscular structure work, which is toning, realigning and lengthening. If I’m prepping for something or I’ve been eating a lot of pie, I do two hours a day, six days a week for two weeks.”

 

 

 

 

 

Long before it became a HUGE trend this year, the coral has been my all-time favorite color. It is one of those colors that flatters every single person. It just makes you feel like you are on vacation, so fun, sexy, and beautiful.
